About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems within a manufacturing plant. You will work alongside seasoned engineers and technicians, gaining practical experience in equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and process optimization. Freshers will receive structured on-the-job training, while experienced candidates will take on greater responsibilities including team coordination and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults in pumps, compressors, conveyors, and HVAC systems
- Prepare maintenance reports, equipment logs, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations
- Support senior engineers in process improvement and energy efficiency initiatives
Qualification and Requirements
- Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: Freshers welcome | 1-3 years experience preferred for senior roles
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
- Familiarity with reading engineering drawings and technical manuals
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in shifts
